Tom Cleverley believes he could face a touchline ban longer than one match after accepting a misconduct charge from The Football Association.

Cleverley was sent-off in the second half of the 3-2 away League One win against Luton Town on September 13, after receiving a third yellow card of the season earlier in the incident-packed match at Kenilworth Road.

The Pilgrims' boss had been expected to serve a one-game touchline ban against Peterborough United last Saturday but that was delayed, pending the outcome of a disciplinary hearing. He had until Monday to respond to the misconduct charge.

Cleverley admitted it was 'highly unlikely' he would be in the away technical area for Argyle's game against Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday.
