Bhatkal: I n an admirable display of honesty, a local youth in Murdeshwar returned a bag containing ₹48,190 in cash that had been lost by a tourist from Hyderabad.

The tourist misplaced the bag near the Murudeshwar temple, after which it was found by Vishnu Nagappa Naik of Garadigadde. Without hesitation, Naik handed it over to the Murudeshwar Police Station.

In the presence of PSI Hanumanth Biradar, the bag was subsequently returned to its rightful owner. The tourist expressed heartfelt gratitude to Naik, while both the police and the public lauded his act of integrity and sincerity.
