PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) confirms one person was killed in a wreck on Highway 43 in Pearl River County Thursday morning.

Officials said the single-vehicle accident happened around 7 a.m. in the area near Ramsey Hall Road and Joe Stockstill Road.

All lanes on Highway 43 are blocked as crews work to clear the scene of the accident. Law enforcement officials are directing traffic.
