WASHINGTON — Nearly $1 million worth of merchandise was stolen during a brazen daytime armed robbery of a jewelry store in San Ramon, California.
Surveillance video captured approximately 25 people storming into Heller Jewelers at City Center Bishop Ranch on Monday, Sept. 22.
The robbers entered the store and began smashing glass display cases, according to a press release from the San Ramon Police Department. At least three of the individuals had guns, while the rest carried a mix of crowbars and pickaxes.
"So, when they went in, they basically took over the store," San Ramon Police Department Lt. Mike Pistello described.
