ABINGDON, Va. (WJHL) — The William King Museum of Art in Abingdon will debut a brand new exhibit on Thursday.
Potters on the Holston features historical works that were made using clay sourced along the Holston River in Southwest Virginia.
The exhibit goes on display Thursday at the museum. It will stay on display through April 5.
Additionally, the museum is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its Art Lab with an event on Saturday.
Guests can learn more about the Art Lab's mission. You can also see demonstrations and get up close with the work from resident artists.
That's from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday. It is free to attend.
The William King Museum of Art is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1-5 p.m.
Admission is free.
