PEKIN, Ill. – A Tazewell County animal shelter is asking for help after a pipe burst overnight.
In a Facebook post, TAPS in Pekin says its building was flooded after the pipe burst sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
TAPS says all the animals at the shelter are safe.
It’s asking the public to donate gallons of water, as it is not known at this time when the water will be turned back on. TAPS is also asking for monetary donations.
