WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. — If you're in the mood for some good barbecue, South Carolina is the place to be, according to Southern Living magazine .
Not only is the number one spot on its Top 50 list just outside of Columbia, several entries across the list are not-so-hidden secrets across the Palmetto State.
Coming in at #44 on the list is Charleston's King BBQ , which is described as "Chinatown BBQ made with Southern smoke. The restaurant was the idea of Shuai and Corrie Wang, who are also known for their restaurant, Jackrabbit Filly. Southern Living said its wide-ranging food options and "eclectic" bar menu make it "like no other joint in the South."
