ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in St. Peters on Thursday morning.

According to police, the 35-year-old was hit by a Nissan Sentra while crossing Mexico Road at Stoll Lane around 6:20 a.m.

The driver is cooperating with the investigation.

The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The St. Peters Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
