ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man was killed after being hit by a car in St. Peters on Thursday morning.

According to police, the 35-year-old was hit by a Nissan Sentra while crossing Mexico Road at Stoll Lane around 6:20 a.m. The pedestrian, identified as Gregory Waggoner of Wright City, died from his injuries while at the hospital.

Police said the driver is cooperating with the investigation.

The St. Peters Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
