The blow-by-blow showdown between the Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens this week landed among ESPN’s most-watched “Monday Night Football” games ever.

A whopping 22.8 million viewers tuned in to watch the two powerhouse teams trade haymakers this past Monday, making it among the network’s four most-watched MNF games ever. It also ranked as ESPN’s most-watched MNF Week 3 game.

The audience for the Lions’ 38-30 victory was bigger than 340 regular season MNF games on ESPN since 2006. Viewership peaked at 25.4 million late in the first half.
