Legendary “Star Trek” actor William Shatner was hospitalized on Wednesday after experiencing a medical emergency.

Shatner, 94, was taken to a hospital after experiencing an issue with his blood sugar levels, according to the Independent.

The actor reportedly called for EMS as a precaution. Paramedics arrived in an ambulance and was taken to a hospital to get checked out.

Harry Gold, Shatner’s agent, told TMZ that the actor is now back home, doing well and resting comfortably.

Shatner is best known for playing Captain James T Kirk in the original “Star Trek” series in the 1960s.

He reprised the role in multiple films, including “Star Trek: The Motion Picture,” and “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.” He directed the fifth film in the series, “Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.”
