OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Elkhorn River access points are currently closed due to raised water levels, officials say.

In a statement Wednesday from the Papio Missouri Natural Resource District , the following points were listed as closed:

Elkhorn Crossing at the intersection of 252nd Street and Bennington Road

West Maple Road Site at West Maple Road, northeast of Waterloo

Graske Crossing at the southeast corner of West Dodge Road and west of 204th Street

The Platte River Landing near Highway 64 will remain open for visitors.

Also in the statement, a spokesperson for the Papio NRD shared the launch of a new website. The public can now check the status of the access parks here.
