FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Our drought conditions were updated today and “Severe” drought conditions continue to expand across the area. Now I will preface that any rain recorded after 8am on Tuesday will be recorded next week, so don’t worry Noble and DeKalb Counties! We do need more rain and that won’t come this week. Skies clear out this afternoon and temperatures will warm up tomorrow.
We could see one or two stray showers the rest of the day before clearing out tonight. We are trending well below average for rain chances over the 6-10 days, so we will take whatever else we can get today.
As skies clear, expect plenty of sunshine and temperatures on the rise for the weekend as well. With clear skies again, expect another round of fog tomorrow morning. Outside of some fog, mostly sunny
