STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Authorities allege that a 43-year-old Staten Islander used his SUV as a weapon, striking a man two times in a hit-and-run crash in Rossville.
Michael Edwards of Princeton Avenue in New Dorp also allegedly crashed into the victim’s motorcycle in a confrontation between two men who knew each other, according to multiple sources.
Edwards was the driver of a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder that struck the victim on Aug. 29 at about 6:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Barry Street and Rossville Avenue, according to the criminal complaint.
