A fun rollercoaster match with plenty of hairpin turns came down to a fifth and final set at the Sandwich High School gymnasium on Wednesday evening as the Blue Knights hosted their local rivals from Falmouth. In the end, the Lady Knights dealt better in the pressure spots and it was all the difference as they pulled out an exciting five-set victory.

SHS scored wins in the two close sets that were played, and then delivered in the clutch in the match-deciding fifth set. They scored a 26-24, 13-25, 25-23, 18-25, 15-10 victory.

Sandwich improved to 4-3 overall on the season with the victory. Falmouth dropped to 4-6 as they had a two match win streak halted.
