WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A 43-year-old man has been sentenced to 16.5 years in prison for rape and other child sex crimes after the victim accused him of sexually abusing her for years.

Sedgwick County court records show Judge Quentin Pittman sentenced Jaime Torres-Cordero on Thursday to 199 months for rape and three counts of aggravated indecent solicitation. He pleaded no contest in August.
