The Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ) recently revealed that proposed changes to the Personal Independence Payment ( PIP ) have been postponed until a 'comprehensive review' of the current assessment process is completed, anticipated by next Autumn. ‌

However, the DWP also confirmed that the disability benefit will continue to increase annually in line with the September inflation rate. ‌
