Two contracts that give the state and its private partnership group the go-ahead to build the new stadium at the site of the existing one were signed this week.

“The New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District (NASED) project team today announced the execution of its first two agreements with Aloha Halawa District Partners (AHDP), marking a major milestone in the redevelopment of the Aloha Stadium site,” according to a news release this morning from NASED. “These agreements official allow dismantling of the existing stadium and the start of construction of the new, modern facility.”
