Coming off a great showing in their previous outing, the Mashpee High School boys’ soccer team dropped a 6-1 decision to Rockland High School at Horne Stadium on Wednesday afternoon , September 24 .

The loss dropped the Falcons back to .500 on the season, at 4-4, and ended a season-best two-game winning streak. The Falcons will try to get back in the win column on Monday, September 29, when they host East Bridgewater High School at Horne Stadium. They will then have a full week off before returning to the pitch on the road on October 6 at Randolph.

Sharpshooter Tristan Mastriogiacomo had the only goal of the game for MHS. It came in the first half.

“Unfortunately, it was our worst game of the season. Rockland had some great attackers,” Coach Dylan Barger said.
