Teresa Bennett is retiring from Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Ind., after a career spanning more than 42 years at the organization, according to a hospital news release shared with Becker’s. Her last day is Sept. 30. “It is going to be hard that last day. It will be an emotional day for me,” Ms. Bennett said in the release.
She joined the organization in January 1983 in the admitting department before transferring to a part-time secretary in the education department in 1988. Ms. Bennett then transferred to administration, where she has worked since 1992. During her career at Baptist Health Floyd, she has worked directly for various leaders, including vice presidents, according to the release.
