A six-year-old football player caught the eye over the weekend and is now under consideration for a scholarship at Florida State University.

It appears the Seminoles could have their quarterback for 2038 locked up. Devin Rispress has had one under his nose for several years and probably did not know it.

Rispress, the director of recruiting at FSU, has a six-year-old son named after him, whom he’s tempted to make an offer to.

A respected recruiter in the college game, Rispress served as the assistant director of player personnel and high school relations at Colorado last season, helping Deion Sanders put together a team that won nine games and went to a bowl game. The win total marked a first since 2016.
