Barrington Police responded to a number of juvenile-related incidents last week.

On Monday, Sept. 15, a Newbrook Drive resident stopped into the station to report an ongoing issue with juveniles playing ding-dong-ditch. The resident said the first incident took place at about 8:45 p.m. one night. The second incident occurred at 7:30 p.m. another night. The resident said security cameras captured footage of the juveniles, but he did not recognize who they were. On Sunday, Sept. 21, the Newbrook Drive residents located one of the ding-dong-ditch kids outside a home in a nearby neighborhood. Police responded and spoke to the juvenile; police said the boy was remorseful and said he made a mistake. Police are still investigating and are trying to locate the other juveniles involved.
