The Mt. Hope High School girls' soccer club played a 2-all draw to open last week as visiting Lincoln rallied from a two-goal deficit at the half in a Division I contest played at Roger Williams University Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Sara Nencka, off an assist from Thea Jackson, and Elise Lanoie, off a Maddie Butterworth helper, accounted for the Huskies' goals.
Jackson chased near the entire pitch to keep the ball in play then cross to Nencka for a header. Lanoie broke loose from the pack to knock in a Butterworth corner. Keeper Moira Ware was credited with five saves. The Huskies saw their record move to 4-2-2 at the time.
