HENDERSON CO., Ky. (WFIE) - A large tract of land in Henderson on the 425 Bypass has been included in the Kentucky Product Development Initiative.
Officials say the scope of this project would include a boundary and ALTA survey, geotechnical exploration, environmental review, ecological and biological assessment, historical and cultural review, and a master conceptual plan for the property.
City officials say the project also involves completing the due diligence on the site, which makes it more desirable for potential new industries looking to locate within the city.
“I’m proud to see HED (Henderson Economic District) continuing to plant seeds for future growth,” says Mayor Brad Staton. “The work they are doing is amazing and the community will benefit from it for a long time to come.”
