WARRICK CO., Ind. (WFIE) - Hundreds of people have stepped up to help a family in the midst of tragedy.

The pastor for 12-year-old Allison Lowery’s family, Stephen Russ, started a GoFundMe for them late Wednesday afternoon.

By early Thursday afternoon, it surpassed $25,000.

As we told you, she’s the girl who was hit by a semi while riding her bike Tuesday.

It happened at Sharon Road and SR-66.

Russ says the fund was created to give Allison the farewell she deserves.
