The Leduc Nisku Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted an all candidates election forum for Millet town council at the agricultural hall on Sept. 23.

Incumbent Doug Peel has been re-election as mayor of the Town of Millet by acclamation and 10 candidates are vying for the six available council positions: Tera Ainsworth, Brett Ancelet, Mike Bennett, Thomas Dudley, Rebecca Frost, Kelly Kayfish-Winkler, Ryan McGillvray, Susie Petrisor, Mathew Starky and Stephanie Varley.

Frost, an incumbent, says staying connected to citizens has been her priority.

"Over this term, we've made real progress," said Frost, citing expanded high-speed internet, park development, lowering the 2025 tax rate and future development opportunities.
