PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- A Decatur man was indicted on Tuesday for his alleged connection to a Sept. 6 domestic incident.

Raymond Miller, 24, was indicted for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and domestic battery, according to Peoria County Court records.

This incident occurred near West Ann Street and South Manual Avenue around 10:48 a.m. after a report of an argument and shots fired, said police spokeswoman Semone Roth.

A woman on the scene said Miller allegedly fired two rounds in the residence, then took her vehicle before officers arrived, Roth said. No injuries were reported.

Miller was eventually taken into custody in Bartonville without incident. Roth said a gun was allegedly located inside the vehicle. He was transported to the Peoria County Jail, where records show he
