LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Washington-Marion Head Football Coach Dio Bernard has been placed on administrative leave, according to Calcasieu Parish School Board officials.

The school board said it cannot provide additional information because it is a personnel matter.

Assistant coach George Young has been named interim head coach and will lead the team Friday night against St. Louis Catholic.
