GETTYSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- A new train ride in Gettysburg is adding to the tourism industry and taking passengers to see 16 miles of the Adams County countryside.
All aboard the Gettysburg Railway from the remodeled 1884 depot on Washington Street. The modernized 1950s-era train cars can hold up to 200 passengers. The 90-minute round-trip ride passes Gettysburg College, the battlefield and even crosses over the Conewago Creek. Passengers will learn about the past and present.
