WESTLAKE, Ohio – L.L. Bean is planning to open its Crocker Park store with fanfare.

The store is scheduled to open Friday, Oct. 10, but the company will gear up with a weeklong celebration beginning Monday, Oct. 6.

Grand opening highlights

• 8:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 6-7: Complimentary cider and doughnuts, plus 20% coupons and photos alongside the Bootmobile.

• 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 8-9: Boat and tote screen printing and painting sessions. Reservations are required via eventbrite .

• 8:45 a.m. Oct. 10: Ribbon-cutting ceremony.

• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 10-11: Free boat and tote monogramming, DIY craft bars, Bootmobile photo ops and giveaways.

The first 100 customers Friday will receive a $50 gift card, while those on Saturday will get a custom monogrammed boat and tote. Lineup begin
