JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) - Uptown Jackson will host the 2026 Oktoberfest on October 3-4.

Jackson police say setup will start on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 5 p.m. when the city parking lot by the Cape Girardeau County Administration Building and parking spaces along the north side of Main Street, between Court Street and Barton Square, will be closed.

At noon on Friday, Oct. 3, they say Main Street from Barton Square to Missouri Street, part of Court Street from Main Street to Jones Drug Store, High Street from Main Street to Adams Street and part of Adams Street will be closed.

Police ask drivers in the area to use caution and take another route, if possible.

All streets should be open on Sunday morning, Oct. 5 at 12 a.m.
