55% of Calgary Chamber members indicated current municipal support for small businesses falls short, while 14% said they are satisfied with existing measures

A majority of Calgary’s small businesses say the city is not doing enough to support them, a recent chamber of commerce poll has found.

The Calgary Chamber of Commerce said in a news release Thursday that 55 per cent of its roughly 1,500 members indicated current municipal support for small businesses falls short. Only 14 per cent of members expressed satisfaction with existing measures.
