HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) -- Thursday's Hometown Heroes raised a ton of money one step at a time.

The Salvation Army Harrisburg held its annual Shoe Strut last Friday in Hershey. The runway-style event supports the Salvation Arm's program that provides brand new shoes to local kids in need.

Well, this year's event was the biggest yet, raising $210,000. That will provide 1,400 pairs of shoes for those who need them most.
