CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department has arrested a man for multiple car break-ins in downtown Charleston last Saturday.
Shaoquna Rishen Williams, 29, of Charleston, is facing charges of receiving stolen goods greater than $10,000, two counts of receiving stolen goods less than $2,000, three counts of breaking into motor vehicles and one count of tampering with a vehicle, according to jail records.
Officers responded to a reported car break-in on Gibbes Street near Lenwood Boulevard around 8 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered additional victims in the area who reported their vehicles had been broken into overnight.
