ROCHESTER, Minn. - It was a hot one in Rochester today, so it was the perfect day for the teachers and staff at Longfellow Elementary School to get drenched with ice water.

The Ice Bucket Challenge was hosted to raise money for Alzheimer's Disease after long time first grade teacher, Kristie Beck was diagnosed.

Students had the chance to dump buckets on their teachers and even joined in on multiple dance parties.

By the end of the event, $2,000 had been raised and will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
