CORINTH, Maine (WABI) - A man using drones to help find missing dogs says he has been under fire twice in Maine this month.

Based in New Hampshire, Rob Russell has owned 2A TAC Air OPS for about three years. Russell travels across the Northeast, helping locate missing people and animals by deploying his three drones.

“The big bang for your buck you get with a thermal drone is in the right weather conditions, you can cover a huge area of multiple square miles in a relatively short amount of time, a couple hours, that would normally take a very large amount of people, you have risk to people getting injured,” Russell explains. “With the drone, generally there’s no issue.”
