ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A teenager is in custody after an overnight shooting at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex, according to police.
At around 12:30 a.m., officers were called to the Appletree Apartments on the 2300 block of Campbellton Road, across from Adams Park. Police say several units were struck by gunfire, and although blood was seen inside one of the apartments, the victim was nowhere to be found.
Neighbors said they heard a lot of gunfire.
“I heard the gunshots. I didn’t know where they came from. Then I woke up around 4 o’clock this morning, and I saw all the tape around the area,” said Frank Robinson.
While investigating, detectives learned a man with four gunshot wounds to the abdomen was admitted into Grady Memorial Hospital. Police said he’s in critica
