ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - On Windy Hill Road in Marietta, a Thai restaurant failed a routine health inspection this week.
Red Elephant Thai Cuisine in Cobb County scored 61 points and a “U” for unsatisfactory. The report says shrimp and steak were at unsafe temperatures, raw calamari and catfish were stored above ready to eat soups and sauces and an employee failed to wash hands after touching raw chicken.
“I believe that they are touching raw chicken and not finished touching or cutting it and that’s why they did not wash their hands,” Red Elephant employee Jay Laksuwong said.
This employee said management asked her to translate for them and answer our questions. Plus, they asked her to explain how they are working to make improvements.
