SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Southern University at Shreveport Foundation (SUSF) is hosting the Port City Golf Tournament on October 13 at Crooked Hollow Golf Course in Greenwood, LA.

Each year, tax-deductible tournament fees and registration help fund scholarships for students at Southern University at Shreveport (SUSLA).

This is the 19th "Tee off for Scholarships!" and the program continues to raise funds and awareness for the SUSF scholarship fund.

The event will be a four-man shotgun scramble with an 8:30 a.m. starting time. There will be prizes for the longest drive and closest to the hole, as well as a drawing for door prizes.
