HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- As neighboring communities grapple with violence, Harrisburg is exploring solutions to reduce violence on its own streets.

Harrisburg Chief of Police Thomas Carter set expectations ahead of the panel.

"I'm looking for some real answers," Carter said. "I'm looking to see how York cutdown their gun violence. I'm looking to understand the psyche of our young kids who are carrying guns."
