It may have taken them nearly 20 hours, but the Birmingham Barons have done it again.

After a rain delay carried Wednesday's do-or-die Game 3 against the Montgomery Biscuits through the night and a second delay paused the action Thursday, the Barons finally finished things off with a 6-3 win.

"They knew it wasn't over. They knew what they had to do," Barons skipper Guillermo Quiroz said of the team's mindset after the extensive delay. "They've been in battles like this all year. Look at our record in games that are tied going into the ninth or in extra innings, we came out on top. Our guys know how to stay focused.
