LENA, La. (KALB) - Kadorian Brown is a junior wide receiver and safety for the Northwood-Lena Gators who secured the Gators’ first win of the season against the Pickering Red Devils.

“It was special,” said Brown. “For that being our first win, [the] homecoming game, it meant a lot. I knew it was just a big, big stage. When coach called that play, I immediately looked at my quarterback. I was like, ‘give me the ball’. I knew I was going to score. I caught the ball, hit the moves, got to touchdown, scored.”

“I knew...the play call was going to be good, because we like that play, we like to hit the ball in KD’s hands,” said Gators senior guard Jayden Thedford. “Once I got off my block and I saw KD catch the ball, I saw him go to the house, I knew it was just, it was GGs from there.”
