BARNESVILLE, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking for a suspect in the killing of a Lamar County 41-year-old over the weekend, according to a press release from the agency.
They say 17-year-old Arrington Bostic was involved in the killing of 41-year-old Deondrey Florence at a Barnesville apartment complex Saturday night.
The GBI said that the shooting happened in the 200 block of Southland Drive at around 11:45 p.m.
When agents arrived, they say Florence was dead on the scene, according to a previous press release.
The Barnesville Police Department asked the GBI to help aid in their investigation. Once it's finished, the agency says that they'll give the case file to the Towaliga District Attorney's Office for prosecution.
