BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge man who was accused of killing his six-week-old child entered a guilty plea on Wednesday.
According to court documents, Darryl Richardson, 27, appeared in court and changed his plea from not guilty to guilty on two amended charges. Richardson faces negligent homicide and negligent injuring. These charges are to run consecutively, totaling 15 years in prison with credit for time served.
He was previously charged with second-degree murder and second-degree cruelty to a juvenile.
