Three area football teams have a Homecoming game Friday. Meanwhile, Cabrillo will try to stay on a roll following a 62-7 rout of Taft last week.

Lompoc, Santa Ynez and Nipomo will all have their Homecoming Friday. Lompoc (4-1) will try to rebound from its first loss of the year, 27-24 against Fresno Justin Garza at home last week.

The Braves will host Lake Isabella Kern Valley (2-2) Friday at 4 p.m. Lompoc will try to rebound after Justin Garza slowed down Noah Kinard last week. The Lompoc senior running back rushed for more than 100 yards in all of Lompoc's first four games. The Guardians held him to 48 yards on 18 carries last week.

After Lompoc had not shown much of a passing game, Lompoc quarterback Trevor Thompson has averaged 157.4 yards a game passing the last two weeks. Thompson
