SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - First responders gathered Thursday, Sept. 25 to hold an emergency response and evacuation drill at Calumet ’s Shreveport facility.

The joint exercise involved Calumet’s emergency management team, the Shreveport Fire and Police departments, the Caddo Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, Shreveport City Marshals, Louisiana State Police, and the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality.

Several roads near the exercise were closed throughout the day to maintain public safety.
