There likely has never been a more important game of soccer-tennis in the history of the Vancouver Whitecaps than the one that took place Thursday on the grounds of the University of B.C.

In a short, fun little video posted on the MLS team’s Instagram feed fans could see that not only was superstar Thomas Müller back on the National Soccer Development Centre training pitch, but so was captain Ryan Gauld.

It’s been a few weeks now that Gauld has been slowly but surely working his way back to full fitness, after months on the sidelines working to recover from a knee injury.
