Tulsa police arrested a man on Wednesday after he threatened officers with a knife on a city bus near 3rd Street and Lewis Avenue.

Officers responded to a disturbance involving 69-year-old Michael Brown, who became increasingly agitated during a bus ride. According to the bus operator, Brown initially appeared mildly upset for unknown reasons.

The driver pulled over and asked him to leave the bus, but he refused, pulling out a knife and telling the operator the police would have to remove him. The operator safely helped other passengers off the bus before police arrived.
