TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Today’s something good was a much-needed break!

Students at Trinity Catholic School greeted construction workers with cold drinks, snacks and thank you signs Thursday afternoon.

More good news:

The workers are sweating it out on an expansion of the school.

There was a long line of thank yous, too, from construction workers who were clearly touched by the show of gratitude.

“This was awesome,” one construction worker said. “Good to see the kids out here. That’s cool. We’re learning them good stuff.”

Student Rusty Bowers said he hopes the gesture makes the workers feel appreciated.

“I know they’re making our school even better than it already is ... and I wanted to thank them because of all the hard work they’re doing,” he said.
