DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (WAFB) - The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office says deputies helped track down and arrest a wanted fugitive in Denham Springs on Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Agents with the LPSO Narcotics Division, working alongside the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force, located and apprehended Manndarryl Walters of Paulina.

Deputies say Walters was wanted in St. James on multiple felony narcotic and illegal firearm charges stemming from an investigation that began in June 2025.

The arrest happened in the Arbor Walk Subdivision off Walker South Road. Deputies say they also executed a search warrant at the residence and seized the following items:

About 274.8 grams of marijuana, prepackaged for sale

Two digital weighing scales

$1,045 in cash
